The sensor is the reason to choose this over a cheaper camera. At 1/1.8 inches it is several times the area found in most webcams, which is what allows a usable picture in a room lit by a single lamp instead of requiring a key light in front of you.

Optics are glass rather than moulded plastic, at f/2.0, with autofocus tuned to hold on a face rather than hunt when you look down at your desk. It records 4K at 60fps with HDR, and the field of view is adjustable between 65, 78 and 90 degrees, so a wide shot of a workspace and a tight head-and-shoulders framing both come from the same unit.

Two beamforming microphones handle audio well enough for calls, though a dedicated microphone is still better for recorded work. A magnetic cover blocks the lens physically, and an LED shows when the sensor is live. Comes with a monitor clamp and a standard tripod thread.
